Founded in 1946 by the Missionary Sisters, Assumption Convent is an independent Catholic girls schools in the heart of Johannesburg offering affordable, quality education.

We value each pupil, maintaining small classes of under 25 to ensure individual attention. With fewer than 600 students, its family-like environment fosters dedicated, long-serving teachers and a nurturing, child-centred education. It is an associate member of the Catholic Schools Board and part of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa, following a three-term year.
